Senior Accountant (part time, office based)
Salary: £35,000- £40,000 Pro Rata

  We are a well-established and reputable Chartered  Accountancy firm based in Bristol, proudly serving the local community for over  10 years. Our mission is to help business owners achieve their financial goals  and aspirations, specialising in Property Tax, Inheritance Tax, and working  with Freelancers. 
The opportunity: 
  Due to ongoing growth of the firm, we are seeking an  experienced Practice Accountant to join our team on a permanent, part-time  basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can hit the ground  running and contribute to our continued success.
Please Note:
  Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience in-practice  to be considered for this role.

Key responsibilities: 
  As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for  preparing a variety of accounting tasks for our business clients, including:
  - Limited Company accounts from bookkeeping  records
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Self-assessment tax returns
- Partnership accounts and tax returns
- Sole trader accounts
- handling client queries and requests and ad hoc  tasks
Are You Right for the Role?
  You’re a great fit if you possess most or all the following:
Preferred (but not essential):
  - A recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/ATT  or equivalent).
Essential:
  - 2+ years of practice experience
- Proficiency in cloud accounting software such as  Xero and Quickbooks
- Strong IT skills, including advanced use of  Excel and Word.
- Proven expertise in managing client  relationships and delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal  supervision.
- Friendly, polite, and an effective team player.
- Excellent telephone manner and strong communication  skills
- High standard of written and spoken English
- Diligent, hardworking and eager to contribute to  the company’s success.
